We created over 50 athlete bumpers, carefully reviewing footage and crafting edits that were visually striking while capturing each athlete’s personality. Since winter sports often involve headwear, it was important to help the audience connect with each athlete’s presence.
Olympic Late Night
I adapted the Primetime package into a late-night look, building on the original design’s opulence while adding a neon-splashed, energetic twist.
Live Action Bumpers
These bumpers celebrate Italian culture, playfully enhancing motion with illustrative streaks. Building on the visual language Emily Tinklenberg established, I found ways to creatively weave painterly accents into each story while sprinkling the Milan Cortina logo throughout.
Viz Templates
Throughout the games, we created numerous sports visualizations featuring athlete data and statistics. Moving at a breakneck pace, it was essential to develop templates that other artists could quickly update for air. Here are two of the looks I crafted for this purpose.
Sponsored Advertisements
Sponsored content is a major part of the games' success. I developed assets for Starbucks, Allstate, and Hershey's, ensuring each piece was engaging and on-brand for broadcast and social media.
Gold Zone
Gold Zone is a show on Peacock that highlights the most exciting Olympic moments. I was tasked with designing several key monitor looks and templatizing them for the team to use during broadcast. Building on Gold Zone’s brand, originally designed by Two Fresh, I had the creative flexibility to incorporate my own illustrative touches across each monitor.
This floor-to-ceiling “Set & Forget” loop celebrates the variety of winter sports. The goal was to create movement that was visually engaging yet subtle enough not to distract from the talent in front of it. I carefully crafted each frame, drawing inspiration from Gold Zone’s intersecting motif to create dynamic transitions throughout the loop.
“Glitter & Goals” was a studio takeover spotlighting two major events of the day: women’s hockey and figure skating. The challenge was to create two visually distinct looks while maintaining a cohesive overall identity. Sam Pickett introduced a bold lightning bolt motif, which I contrasted with delicate swirls and an iridescent backdrop to differentiate the two sports while preserving a unified visual language.
For the Valentine’s Day takeover, I adapted elements from the existing design to create a look that leaned into the theme while remaining cohesive with the established visual language.
